CARNIVAL LUMINOSA OPENS FOR SALE AS FUN NEW SHIP PREPARES TO JOIN CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE FLEET

Now accepting reservations for Australia and cruises in Alaska of November 6, 2022 through April 2024

MIAMI, August 24, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Carnival Cruise Line today announced that reservations are open for the inaugural season of its new ship. Luminous Carnival which will debut from Brisbane, Australia November 6, 2022 before repositioning for the seasonal service of Seattle at Alaska next May.

When Carnival Luminosa arrives at Australia in just three months, it will be the last Carnival ship to be decked out in the stunning new livery that was introduced on Mardi Gras in 2021 and has been added to half of the Carnival fleet, featuring the red, white and blue hues long associated with Carnival Cruise Line. The ship will also feature a vintage funnel design reminiscent of the funnels on Carnival’s original ships like Mardi GrasCarnival and Festival.

Carnival Luminosa will host many activities and experiences from other Carnival ships that guests have come to know and love, as well as new spaces.

Featuring guest favorites from entertainment, youth and spa, casino, bars and restaurants, offerings will include Playlist Productions, The Punchliner Comedy Club, Limelight Lounge, Piano Bar 88, Alchemy Bar, RedFrog Rum Bar, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Chef’s Table, Bonsai Sushi Express, Seaday Brunch, Serenity Adult-Only Retreat, and Cloud 9 Spa, among others.

Itineraries for the inaugural season

Upon opening for booking, Carnival Luminosa will sail a variety of seasonal itineraries from Brisbane of November 6, 2022 at April 13, 2023, offering something for everyone; including three- and four-day cruises to popular Australian ports for short vacations; six and seven days Great Barrier Reef and cruises in the South Pacific; longer trips of eight to 11 days to prime destinations like Noumea and Lifou Island in New Caledonia, Port Vila and Mystery Island at Vanuatuand Papua New Guinea, Fijiand New Zealand; as well as a Carnival Journeys transpacific trip as Luminosa repositions itself Seattlestopping in Tahiti, Polynesia, among other beautiful sites.

Of SeattleCarnival Luminosa will sail for four months Alaska program with 17 seven-day sailings as well as six- and eight-day sailings to favorite ports such as juneau, Ketchikan, sitka, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and the Tracy Arm Fjord Scenic Cruise.
