The management company of the port of Punta Arenas, in the far south of Chile, has proposed a schedule of cruise ship activities during the first two weeks of February. According to the program, eleven calls are scheduled in the two weeks leading up to February 15. Until Sunday, February 6 six cruise ships were actually called.

On February 1, Silver Whisper, on February 2, Le Commandant Charcot and Viking Junior, and the next day, Silver Moon and Ventus Australis.

Monday February 7, Viking Star: Silver Moon Tuesday February 8: Ventus Australis February 13 with Roald Amundsen and Costa Luminosa February 15.

Puerto Williams, opposite Ushuaia, awaits the call from Silver Explorer on February 16.

Finally a review of the season so far, according to the Austral Port Company, 27 cruise ships left Punta Arenas for Antarctica, while another ten stopped over but were heading to different destinations.

Puerto Natales north of Punta Arenas has so far received only one call from the National Geographic Explorer and Puerto Williams, the Silver Explorer has left for six visits to Antarctica and one from the Magellan Explorere.
